"This Warrant Officer was Engineer Officer of 663 Polish Air Observation Post Squadron, during the actions from 9th - 21st April 1945, He was responsible for maintenance, repair and servicing of 21 Auster Aircraft. He showed throughout the period outstanding drive, enthusiasm and devotion to duty. In spite of a shortage of personnel, very long flying hours by the Aircraft, frequent changes of location of Flights and Squadron Head Quarters during the advance and damage by enemy actions of 10 of the Aircraft, he, by his excellent organisation, maintained the Squadron in such a high state that they were always able to operate when required. He was an inspiration to his men throughout".
