"Sergeant Janosz rendered outstanding services in the repair of Motor Transport equipment and training of personnel. Whilst in charge of an LAD Section, during the battle for Cassino, his own work was an inspiring example for his men, which resulted in a considerable raise in output.

He also distinguished himself in the capacity as a chief instructor on a course for Motor Transport Mechanics (60 students) working indefatigably and wholeheartedly for the benefit of his students".
