"Captain Lewicki has been throughout recent operations Chief Signal Master at main Head Quarters 2 Polish Corps. He has throughout worked with outstanding skill, industry and efficiency and has shown marked organising ability. Thanks to his great devotion to duty and his inborn tact and a very good knowledge of English, he most effectively co-ordinated the communications between 2 Polish Corps Signal Office and that of the Eighth Army and other British Signal Offices, thus facilitating particularly during the spring offensive. The co-operation between Head Quarters 2 Polish Corps and higher flank formations, his excellent work had a direct bearing on the success of operations."
