Riek or Rika Natrop was born in Bemmel as daughter of Petrus Hendrikus Natrop and Maria Theodora Natrop-Huting and lived at the Ressenseweg on A28. On February 22nd, 1944 she was gone shopping with her aunt in Nijmegen. When the bombardment took place, they were at the Burchtstraat near Fashion house Haspels. Both ladies were wounded, but Riek Natrop did not survive her injuries.
