Branch RA (Field) former commander killed in motor accidennt HEESCH Holland M.R. 4951 – Sheet 2A + 3A. 121 Town Major under command HQ L of C, through HQ 12 L of C Area and 21 L of C sub area; There is no hand over to mee. Maj. Bert […] is lent by 21 L of C pending my arrival. He is as much a stranger to the office as I am. We both realise the organisation of the unit leaves much to be desired. The staff is up to WE only British member is L/Sgt Owen Clerk, remained English speaking Dutch. The staff it appears have not at any time been “in the picture”, they say they were never informed of what was happening.
