11.1939: Aspirant - 18e Régiment d'Infanterie - Fontenay-le-Comte
06.1940: WIA during the campaign in France, German POW
07.1940: escaped from POW camp in Châteaubriant
11.1940: demobilized
08.04.1942: gained a British patroler by swimming and disembarked in Gibraltar and joined the Free French Forces
15.05.1942: sent to Great Britain
07.1942: sent to the Free French Cadets School
09.1942: appointed to the BCRA - Bureau Central de Renseignement et d'Action
10.1942: special training at Hans School
12.1942: promoted to sous-lieutenant
15.04.1943: parachuted as codename 'Bordeaux' ivo Loches, Indre-et-Loire, France
End 05.1943: many resistance fighters being arrested, escaped in Spain, arrested and escaped to Great Britain
05.1943: promoted to lieutenant
21.06.1943: arrived in London
06.1943: promoted to capitaine
05.07.1943: parachuted in France around Lyon
05.10.1943: based in Brittany, gathered allied shotdown pilots to sailed them back to Great Britain
11.10.1943: recognised by a Gestapo agent in the "Café de l'Epoque" in Rennes, tried to escape and was severely WIA
Sent to the military hospital in Rennes, all spurs of him disappeared there, he was buried in the military cemetary in Rennes under the unknown.
He is known to have facilitate the exfiltration of more than 60 allied pilots downed over France from 23.10.1943 to 22.01.1944.
01.10.1943: posthumously promoted to commandant
