Biography

Hermann Gessner was killed in the explosion at mill Onze Rika in Bennekom, the Netherlands on November 13rd, 1944. He served as Stabsgefreiter with 10. Kompanie, Fallschirrmjäger-Regiment 17. His remains were at first buried at the Algemene Begraafplaats in Ede, This suggeste he died of his wounds in the hospital there. His remains were transferred to Ysselsteyn on November 11th, 1948.
