Theodor Preis was killed in the explosion at mill Onze Rika in Bennekom, the Netherlands. He held the rank of Gefreiter and had entered service with 1251-Fliegerhorst Kommandantur L.Schweinfurt. His remains were at first buried at the Algemene Begraafplaats in Bennekom but were transferred to Ysselsteyn on February 10th, 1949.
