Biography

Hendrik Willem Adriaan Madsen was born on March 14th, 1906 as the son to Gerardus Bertus Madsen and Koosje Madsen-van den Broek. He married on April 20th1931 in Utrecht with Anna Catharina de Ru (November 3rd, 1910 - July 20th, 1993). On May 15th, 1942 he became POW at Breda, and aarvied the next day in Oflag XIII-b Neurenberg-Langwasser as POW 31216. Later he went to Oflag V-a Weinsberg as POW 164.
