"He has been Medical Officer since the opening of the Station and, by his keenness and devotion to duty, has raised and maintained the Medical Section and Equipment to a high state of efficiency. The health of all the airmen is remarkably high and the incidence of sickness remarkably low, Despite a great increase in the number of men on the Station, the incidence of sickness’ this year is exactly half of what it was last year which is due very largely to the hard work and skill of this officer. He takes a keen interest in his work and has shown determination and energy in dealing with aircraft crashes. He works hard and is always cheerful and untiring in looking after the medical side of this large Station."
Recommendation raised 21 February 1942.
