"My late father is believed to have been an agent of SOE having participated in Tangier in an operation and arrested by Franco and sent to Gibraltar on 28/12/41, arrived In Glasgow via on ss Batory on June 7/42 at the SOE base. Was employed by the RAF as translator and also a seaman."
