Biography

Johan Kosman was born in Groesbeek, the Netherlands, on May 18th, 1917 and was living in Driel, the Netherlands. He served as a Soldier with the 1e Compagnie, IIIe Bataljon, 8e Regiment Infanterie. He was killed in action on May 11th, 1940 and was buried in a fieldgrave alond a sandy road near a farm (Middelkoop), north of the Wageningseafweg in the small village De Nude, Wageningen, the Netherlands. His remains were transferred to the Honor Cemetery Grebbeberg on June 3rd, 1940.
