Hillsman House

During and after the Battle of Sayler's Creek, on 6 April 1865, the illsman House served as a hospital for both Confederate and Union troops. Bloodstains still remain on the floor.
It is now a museum (Hillsman Farm House Museum) in the Sailor's Creek Battlefield State Park and is open to visitors in the summer and by request.
