Memorial Executed Civilians Stavelot

Small memorial for 4 civilians who were executed on this location by German soldiers on September 4th, 1944.

Text on the monument (translated:) Here, on September 4th, 1994, were shot dead by Nazi soldiers.

- Mr Franz van Wesemeal, was chaplain of Trou-de-Bra in Lierneux. He is specially commemorated in the chapel of l'Assomption de la Vierge at Trou-de-Bra.
- Albin Therion, was a member of the resistance.
- Paul Janne, was a student at the Faculty of Natural Sciences at ULG. Was a member of the Resistance and was arrested at the end of 1942 in Fays (Ardennes)
- Alfred Jurdan, no further details found
