War Memorial Friedberg

This memorial on the water tower commemorates the residents of Friedberg who were killed or missing in the Franco-Prussian War (1870-1871), the First World War and the Second World War.

The memorial is sited across the street from the former Ray Barracks; home to the 3rd Brigade, 3rd Armored Division, from 1945-2007. Elvis Presley served with the Brigade's 1st Battalion 32nd Armor, from Oct 1958 to Mar 1960.
