Grave of Judith Carter Henry

This is the grave, in the Manassas National Battlefield Park, of Judith Carter Henry. She was the homeowner of the Henry House. About 85 years old, she refused to leave the house and was killed during the First Battle of Bull Run, on 21 July 1861. She was the first civilian to be killed by Civil War combat.
