Texas State Monument Raymond

This memorial commemorates the troops from Texas, involved in the Battle of Raymond.
The Battle of Raymond took place on 12 May 1863 and resulted in a Union victory. The Union losses were 68 killed, 341 wounded and 37 missing. Confederate losses are estimated at 100 dead, 305 wounded and 415 captured.
