Sign Battle for the Bridge

This sign is dedicated to the battle which was fought here.
The Battle of Munfordville (Battle for the Louisville-Nashville Railroad Bridge) took place from 14 to 17 September 1862. This battle is also known as the Battle at Green River. The battle resulted in a Confederate victory.
