Grave General Radu Korne
The Eternitatea cemetery of Iaşi contains the grave of the Romanian Brigadier General Radu Korne. He was commander of the 1st Armored Divsion "Romānia Mare" and fought against the Red Army during the Second World War. Radu Korne died on 28 April 1949 in the Văcăreşti prison.
