These graves of unknown Confederate soldiers, who were killed in the Second Battle of Corinth, are located behind the Visitor’s Center.
The Second Battle of Corinth took place on 3 and 4 October 1862 and resulted in a Union victory. The Union lost 2.520 men (dead, wounded, missing of captured), the Confederates 4.233.
