Stari Pisker Prison

The old prison of Celje was used by the Germans for the detention and interrogation of enemies of the regime. 374 prisoners were executed here. The partisans managed to free about 300 prisoners from this prison in 1944.

The prison today:
Today it's a national monument and can be visited.
