Memorial L'Ecole Polytechnique

This statue located in the Central Area of West Point, at the United States Military Academy. It is a full-size replica of a statue at École Polytechnique that commemorates the cadets of that French school who died in defense of France in 1814. After World War I, it was given by alumni of the École Polytechnique as a symbol of brotherhood between the two nations and schools.
