Remembrance Tower Battle at Großbeeren
This monument commemorates the battle of Großbeeren.
The battle of Großbeeren occurred on 23 August 1813 between the French army and Prussian troops and resulted in a victory for the Prussians. On the French side, the losses to about 4000 men (dead, wounded, missing and captured), on the Prussian side approximately 1000 men.
