Memorial Battle at the Göhrde

This Memorial commemorates the battle at the Göhrde, which took place on 18 september 1813 between French troops on one side and a coalition of Prussian, Russian, British, Swedish and German troops on the other side and was won by the Coalition. In the battle, about 1000 soldiers were killed.
