Memorial Meeting Three Monarchs

This monument commemorates the meeting under the Lime Tree, on 26 October 1813, of the three monarchs that a coalition formed against Napoleon:
Alexander I, Tsjaar of Russia
Friedrich Wilhem III, King of Prussia
Franz I, Emperor of Austria

A recent study found that Friedrich Wilhem III could not have been on this location. He was probably represented by his son, the Prussian crown prince Friedrich Wilhem IV.
