American Merchant Marine Museum

This museum is dedicated to the history of the American Merchant Marine in general and especially to the history of the American Merchant Marine Academy. On display are ship models, artefacts, paintings and more. A special artefact is the Japanese surrender-sword given to MacArthur. The is also a gallery dedicated to the 142 U.S Merchant Marine Academy cadets lost in enemy action during the Second World War.
