Westwall - Remains Bunker
Leaving Eilendorf on Von Coels Strasse, the bunker lies behind a hedge on the right (south side). It is part of the Schill Line, the part of the Westwall running east of Aachen.
This high ground is the Geisberg, or Hill 228 to the US Army. The US 3rd Armored Division came up the Stolberg Corridor from the south and took these positions on 15th September 1944 under General Hickey.
