Memorial Wellington XIV NC848 "P-Peter"
500 meters beyond this memorial, the Wellington P-Peter bomber (no. 407 Squadron R.C.A.F.) crashed on 7 March 1945. The bomber struck a house and subsequently destroyed by fire. The crash killed three crew members. All buried in Brookwood.
