Crash Site Messerschmitt Bf 109E-3
On 16 May 1940, two Messerschmitt Bf 109E-3 of II./ JG 26 made a forced landing along the dike of the Twentekanaal near Enschede. One of the two nosed over and the other one stayed in nose position.
