Historical Museum Kharkiv

This museum has a permant exposition about the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945).
A large number of artefacts are included within the collection, such as documents,photographs, weapons, Soviet and German medals, uniforms, news papers and personal items of soldiers and civillians. The battles of Moscow, Stalingrad, Kharkiv and Berlin are important themes in the exposition. Three Soviet artillery pieces and a T-34/85 tank are standing on the square in front of the museum.
