Fort Koningshooikt
The Fort was built in 1907-1908, in the First World War this fort was attacked and occupied on 3 October 1914 by the Germans.
The impact holes are still clearly visible (see photo 2).
In 1939-1940 an antitank security was installed and the Fort became part of the new Koningshooikt-Waver line (KW-line).
Currently the Fort is in private ownership.
