Belgian Graves Veterans Geel

At the Municipal Cemetery in Geel are the graves of War Veterans from World War l and ll.

Here rests "Fientje Geernckx" (Maria Josephina Geerinckx), heroine of war. She was active in the First World War in the espionage for Allies and during the Second World War with the resistance and an important intermediary for an escape route for shot aviators.
