Memorial Richard Klages

On the wall of the Hochzeitshaus hangs a memorial plaque on WW2.
On this plaque the following text is in German:

IN MEMORY OF
to those Hameln citizens,
who - like Dr. med. Richard Klages -
endeavored, through their personal commitment
the city of Hameln in April 1945
to preserve further destruction.
