On this location was during the Second World War a POW-camp for about 1,700 German and Italian POWs, who had been identified als troublemakers.
Of the camp, some buildings remains. There is also a one-room museum with a scale model of the camp, some POW artefacts and old grave markers of the camp.
For current visiting hours, please contact the museum.
