Bomb Craters Mechelen

Around Mechelen there are a lot of bomb craters to be found from allied bombings during the Second World War. They were aimed at a ranging station with a lot of German material.

These bombings were done in preparation of the landing in Normandy, to shut down the supply route towards to coast.
