American War Graves Chester Rural Cemetery
This cemetery was established in March 1863 to bury wounded and sick Union and Confederate soldiers. Many of these graves were transferred to Philadelphia National Cemetery later on. The victims of the Eddystone Explosion were buried here on 13 April 1917.
