This museum is dedicated to the history of the ship building in this region, with many information about the built of submarines by the Manitowoc Shipbuilding Company and the operations of U.S. submarines in the Second World War.
The main attraction of the museum is the U.S.S. Cobia (SS-245), a gato-class submaine from the Second World War which was active in the Pacific and was awarded four battle stars. She is in almost original condition.
