Richard I. Bong was the American "Ace of Aces". With 40 downed enemy aircraft he was with his P-38 the most succesfull American pilot of all times. He died in 1945 in a crash during a testflight with an experimental aircraft.
This building, in the shape of a hangar, has a museum with memorabilia, een P-38 and a film screening room. On display are also artefacts of all wars where residents of Superior fought in, from the Second World War on.
