Westwall - Bunker Remains Augustiner Wald

Remains of a small bunker, sited on the forward edge of the Augustiner Wald, just North of the B258 facing Belgium. It can be seen from the road; 2 bigger bunkers in the woods to the North East.

These fortifications are part of the Westwall, also known by the Allies as the Siegfried Line.
The section of the defences running to the west and south of Aachen was known as the Scharnhorst Line.
