T-34/76 Turrets Steel plant 'Krasnyj Oktjabr'

There are numerous T-34/76 turrets, converted to memorials, spread across the city of Volgograd, indicating the location of former frontlines and other memorable places. These turrets are located near the steel plant 'Krasnyj Oktjabr'. The text on these memorials read:

"Fame to the heroes of Stalingrad! Here was the forward defensive line of the 45th Rifle Division from September to November 1943."

"Fame to the heroes of Stalingrad! Detachments of the people's militia of the Krasnyj Oktjabr-quarter together with units of the Soviet army stood their ground here from September to November 1942."
