Memorial Mikhail Panikakha
This memorial is dedicated to the "Hero of the Soviet Union" Seaman Mikhail Panikakha, who sacrificed himself by using his own body as living torch, together with handgrenades, to stop a group of enemy tanks. The German tanks retreated temporarily as result of his sacrifice.
