Memorial Fallen Soldiers Afghanistan

The monument was created by the artist and sculptor Vadim Sidur in 1972. The original name of the sculpture was -"for people who left without burial".

In 1992 it was placed on its modern location in honor of soldiers-Muscovites who died in Afghanistan. There is a wall with the names of perished soldiers behind the statue.
