Belgian War Graves Woubrechtegem

At the cemetery in Woubrechtegem there is a gravestone with a memorial to VANDEN DRIESSCHE Urbain, resistance fighter, who died in the Neuengamme concentration camp (D) on 6 January 1945..

A second gravestone commemorates DELANGE Alfons, soldier 40th engineer 1st bat.
3rd comp..On May 27, 1940, he drowned while swimming in a river in Saint-Geniès-des-Mourgues (southern France) where his training and reinforcement unit was located for further development and training outside the ongoing war violence.
