Partisan Memorial Volokolamsk

Small monument near the bus stop. The inscription on the monument is:

"Here, near the village Utishevo on 30th of November 1941 the group of partisans from the first Volokolamsk partisan squad led by Ilya Kuzin attacked German ammunition convoy. During the attack were killed 20 enemy soldiers and damaged a lot of combat equipment".

A quiet place.
