Memorial KZ Lager Groß-Rosen

At the industrial area that used to be part of Linke-Hofmann Breslau is a memorial that commemorates the people from KZ Lager Groß-Rosen that were located in the subcamp Breslau I and II and were forced to work in the Famo and Linke-Hofmann factories. Linke-Hofmann has produced 12 armoured trains as well as engine components for the V2 rockets. Famo (Fahrzeug und Motorenwerke) was since 1935 part of Junkers after it was taken over from Linke-Hofmann. Famo produced tractors as well as Sd.kfz 9 for the German armoured forces.
