T-64 tank on a pedestal in the centre of the town Pavlovsky Posad. The monument is dedicated to the soldiers, fallen in WW2 time. It is unusual to see the T-64 as a monument, usually the tanks of ww2 time serve this role.
The tank has interesting history. Near the dawn of Soviet Union, the tank was brought to the factory "Exciton" in Pavlovsky Posad, where it had to be converted into a tank-drone (unmanned tank). But after the collapse of USSR the funding of program was stopped and the tank rusted in the backyard of the factory. During that time the most part of spare parts inside T-64 were stolen. In 2005 the tank was placed on a pedestal and became a part of the monument.
