Plaque Crash Location Vickers Wellington Mk III BK348 QB-J

In the garden of the church in Echteld, on the corner of Ooisestraat and Voorstraat, is a plaque bearing the names of five Canadian crew members of the Vickers Wellington Mk III BK348 QB-J, which crashed on 12 March 1943.

Their remains are buried at the Uden War Cemetary, but wreckage still lies in the ground on the other side of Ooisestraat.
