Panther Tank Ausf. G

This was the leading Panthertank of Kampfgruppe Von Cochenhausen (part of the 2. Panzerdivision). On the morning of 24 December this tank triggered a mine around 6 o’clock and was destroyed.

This incident happened in the fields near the castle at the N510/N48 crossroads. The tank was later situated at the crossroads in front of he pub in Celles (near Dinant).
