Pelesa Polish War Cemetery
This war cemetery contains the graves of 35 freedom fighters of the Polish Home Army (Armia Krajowa), who fell in the Battle of Surkonty on 21 August 1944. This was the first battle between the Polish Home Army and the Red Army.
