Liberation Memorial Plovdiv

This memorial sculpture of reinforced concrete has a height of 11 meters (including the stand even 17 meters) and is dedicated to the Soviet liberators of Plovdiv in 1944. The following inscription can be read on the stand:

"Glory to the Soviet Army, unconquerable liberator."

The memorial is visible from almost any open space in Plovdiv, as seen on picture 3-4.
